America.gov is a new website by the U.S. Department of State. It contains several sections that address the U.S. elections process and issues. To get an overview visit the introductory page of the U.S. Elections page. Note that that there are tabs at the top that allow you to also learn about the voting process, the candidates, the issues and state and local elections.
America.gov is also a site through which you can access ejournals. There are two new ejournals about the elections: 'The Candidates' and 'The Electoral College'. They can be found at http://www.america.gov/publications/ejournalusa.html.

www.livingroomcandidate.org is a great site that contains a collection for U.S. Presidential campaign commercials starting with the 1952 campaign. Resources are aviable for teachers. Don't miss the "Online Resources" page that contains a wealth of annotated links on the topic.
Real Clear Politics is an independent web site that publishes polling data, news, commentaries from all points of view.

Vote for Me is a documentary that covers the in's and out's of local elections across America. It takes a humorous, yet informative, backstage look at what it takes to participate in the elections process. Click here for the accompanying instructors' manual.
